Call For Presenters 2026!

Call for Speakers – 2026 Membership Meeting Presentations

Stark County SHRM invites you to share your expertise and help develop HR professionals across our region by presenting at one of our monthly membership meetings in 2026.

We welcome proposals from experienced presenters, emerging speakers, business and community leaders, as well as HR practitioners with valuable insights to share.

What Makes a Strong Presentation

Your session should:

  • Provide practical, applicable learning that supports organizational and HR goals.
  • Introduce a specific and relevant topic in the field of human resources or organizational leadership.
  • Connect meaningfully with our audience, which may include HR Professionals, Risk Managers, Business Leaders, Operations Managers, Fiscal Leaders, and more.
  • Be educational in nature — not promotional. Proposals centered on selling a service or product will not be considered.

What Makes a Strong Speaker

A quality speaker:

  • Understands the audience and encourages engagement and interaction.
  • Is collaborative, prepared, and timely in meeting submission deadlines.
  • Has a genuine enthusiasm for presenting and contributing to professional development.
