Welcome to Stark County SHRM - our Local HR Community in 2026

Stark County SHRM is proud to announce that beginning in 2026, our chapter is officially dual branded with SHRM and recognized as a Dual Member Release (DMR) Chapter. This milestone reflects our commitment to aligning local HR professionals with the most comprehensive, respected HR organization in the world.

2026 Membership Structure

Starting January 2026, all Stark County SHRM members will also be National SHRM members, and the local chapter dues of $50 will be collected directly through SHRM during your membership transaction.

Those who choose not to join National SHRM are always welcome at our chapter meetings and events and will be considered guests of our chapter.

2026 Membership Meetings

We will host eight chapter membership meetings next year: January, February, March, April, May, September, October, and December

Individual Meeting Fees:

  • $25 for members
  • $40 for guests

Additional programs and community events will be offered throughout the year. Fee structures will be announced after the start of 2026.

Season Pass – Available Dec. 10 to Jan. 19

Members and guests may purchase a Season Pass covering all eight membership meetings:

  • Members: $180 (a $20 savings)
  • Guests: $320

This is a convenient option for individuals and organizations who want to pre-pay for the year and enjoy seamless attendance at every meeting. Season Pass holders will still need to register for each meeting to ensure that a meal is ordered (a passcode will be given upon payment).

Why Join Stark County SHRM?

Our chapter provides a welcoming, collaborative space for HR professionals at every stage of their career.

Membership connects you to:

  • A strong local network of HR peers
  • Educational programming aligned with the latest in law, policy, and best practice
  • Community service opportunities supporting Stark County nonprofits
  • Two Emerging Professional scholarships
  • Special outreach opportunities with agencies such as Domestic Violence Project, Inc., and others throughout the year

Our status as a dual branded SHRM chapter helps us offer programming and membership options at cost, thanks to financial support from SHRM that offsets administrative expenses.

Joining both Stark County SHRM and National SHRM ensures you remain fully informed, fully supported, and fully connected—to your profession and your HR community.

Now Is the Time

If you are not yet a SHRM member, or if your membership has lapsed, SHRM is currently offering a 50% discount for the first two years of National membership.

We invite you to continue growing with us in 2026 as we strengthen our connections, collaborate with purpose, and build a thriving HR community here in Stark County.

Warmly,

Valarie A. Nash, SHRM-SCP
President, Stark County SHRM
